We could fetch it on the client-side, but then we need to wait for the JavaScript to download before the fetch starts.\n\nCan we combine data fetching on the server + reading the data in a client component with a good ol' fashion `useUser()` hook? Yes!\n\nThe root layout is able to create, but not await, the promise:\n\n```\nlet userPromise = getUser()\n{children}\n```\n\nThis does not make the page render dynamically.
